Helping a social impact leader communicate its value as clearly as it measures it
ImpactLab helps organisations turn social impact data into compelling stories for funders, iwi, governments, and investors. They’re leaders in their field but their brand and digital presence hadn’t kept pace with the sophistication of what they actually do. The challenge was building something that balanced credibility with approachability, and communicated complex measurement frameworks in a way that connected with real people.

The human side of the data
Video content was built to do what data alone can’t: show the people behind the numbers. Client voices, community stories, and real-world outcomes give funders and investors the context that makes the data meaningful.

Report
As part of the project, we also designed a custom impact report template that enables ImpactLab to clearly communicate results to their clients. Built in Canva to ensure accessibility and ease of use, the report strikes a balance between visual appeal and clarity, making complex data simple to digest. One of the key challenges was designing within the constraints of Canva while maintaining a high standard of design – ensuring the layout was not only on-brand and engaging, but also flexible enough for the ImpactLab team to update regularly as new data comes in.
